Brief Biography:
Dr. Frehner just completed work on a two-year project consisting of a historical exhibit that demonstrates how the humanities informs and complements the physical sciences. The exhibit consists of historical photos, text, and five cabinets of artifacts that collectively tell a story of technological innovation to explain how the field of exploration geophysics unfolded throughout the twentieth century. The project was sponsored by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and is on permanent display in the foyer of the Noble Research Center. The research undertaken for this project will serve as the basis for my next monograph.
