Catherine Seagraves, "From OSU History Major to Foreign Service"

On Wednesday, August 30th @ 4PM in the Murray Hall Parlor, Catherine Seagraves, an OSU History alumna, will be giving a talk titled "From OSU History Major to Foreign Service.” Ms. Seagraves graduated from OSU in 2007 with an honors degree in History and minors in Philosophy and Studio Art. She also holds a J.D. from the University of Texas. Ms. Seagraves just completed a two-year assignment with the Foreign Service as the Environment, Science, Technology, and Health Officer in the Political and Economic Section at Embassy Dhaka in Bangladesh, where she worked closely with Government of Bangladesh officials, non-governmental organizations, and other U.S. government agencies to tackle issues from global health security. Her next assignment is as a Consular Officer at Embassy Asuncion in Paraguay.
