Join the Undergraduate History Club for an Exciting Semester of Activities!

This fall, History Club has an exciting line-up of events! We launched the semester with a campus-wide historical scavenger hunt that featured places and monuments across campus. The winning team won a $75 Amazon gift card. We’ll be featuring two “History of the Present” lectures that look at some contemporary issue through a historical lens—Dr. Holly Karibo on the long War on Drugs (September 6) and Dr. Laura Belmonte on the election season (November 1). History Club will also be taking a field trip (September 10) to the Crystal Bridges Museum and Frank Lloyd Wright House in Bentonville, AR; having a book sale on September 22 (great books across all genres for $1 or less!); learning about how to apply to graduate school (October 5); throwing a historical dress-up party for Halloween (October 21); hosting movie nights; and sharing lunch socials! See our calendar for full details, and email zeide@okstate.edu to get on the mailing list for announcements.
