Go see "Savages and Princesses: Persistent Native American Stereotypes" at the Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar. Dr. Laura Arata, Assistant Professor of History, and her students in HIST 5053: Museum Studies have worked all semester on helping with this show. If you're unable to visit in person, here's a link to explore the pieces and artists featured in the exhibit.This online view of the exhibit, along with the added additional discussion, was also completed with the help of the students in HIST 5053.
The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am to 5pm and is located at 702 S. Duncan St. in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
